Elim Early Learning Centre.

Our Learning Spaces at Elim Early Learning Centre happens naturally for children, and our role is to nurture that curiosity through meaningful relationships, thoughtful teaching, and rich learning opportunities. Our highly qualified teachers work in partnership with whānau to understand each child’s interests, strengths, and needs, then respond with experiences that support individual and small-group learning.

Our excellent teacher-to-child ratios allow teachers to spend quality time alongside tamariki, building warm, responsive relationships and gaining a deep understanding of each child. As a teaching team, we work collaboratively to provide a consistent, holistic care and education experience that supports children to feel settled, valued, and ready to learn.

Our curriculum is broad and varied, guided by Te Whāriki, the New Zealand early childhood curriculum. Across the centre, children are supported to develop oral language, early literacy, mathematics, social skills, creativity, and problem-solving through natural, play-based learning. Our rooms and learning spaces reflect our individual approach, with comfortable, welcoming areas where children can play, explore, connect, or enjoy a quiet moment. If this sounds like the right environment for your child, we would love to hear from you and visit our Learning Spaces.
